How We Make Money

StackCrisp earns revenue through affiliate commissions. When you click a link on our site to a SaaS product and then sign up or make a purchase, we may receive a commission from that company — at no extra cost to you.

This is the primary way we fund the site. It allows us to keep our content free and accessible to everyone.

Our Independence Promise

Here's the part that matters: affiliate commissions never influence our recommendations.

We test tools ourselves, form genuine opinions, and recommend what we believe is best for each use case. Sometimes that means recommending a tool with no affiliate program over one that pays us. Sometimes it means highlighting serious flaws in a tool that offers high commissions.

We would rather earn your trust than earn a quick commission. A reader who trusts our honesty comes back. A reader we misled for a payout doesn't.

How Affiliate Links Work

  • Some links on StackCrisp contain tracking parameters that identify us as the referring source
  • If you click one and make a purchase, the vendor pays us a commission (typically 15-50% of the first payment, sometimes recurring)
  • The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or go directly to the vendor's site
  • You never pay extra for our commissions — the vendor pays us from their marketing budget

Which Links Are Affiliate Links

We don't mark every single affiliate link with a banner — that would make articles unreadable. But you can assume that most product links, pricing page links, and "try it free" buttons are affiliate links. If a link goes to a product's website and we could potentially earn from it, treat it as an affiliate link.

Links to other articles on StackCrisp, category pages, and general resources are not affiliate links.
